E3 Bus

 

When Newegg.com (an online retailer of com­puter parts, acces­sories and con­sumer elec­tron­ics) learned that only video game pub­lish­ers and con­sole man­u­fac­tur­ers were allowed to exhibit inside E3, we found a way for them to dom­i­nate the space out­side. The fully wrapped bus cir­cled the Los Ange­les Con­ven­tion Cen­ter, blast­ing music from the rooftop DJ sta­tion and using air-compression T-shirt can­nons to fire branded “Extreme Indoor Enthu­si­ast” shirts into the crowd. A con­test encour­aged atten­dees to wear the bright orange shirts inside the exhi­bi­tion hall, ulti­mately giv­ing Newegg.com a pres­ence in the build­ing as well.
