To help introduce Black Velvet to a new generation of whisky drinkers, HIGH WIDE & HANDSOME developed an integrated campaign that positions the brand as “The start of every great story.” Three 30-second radio spots, an online ad campaign and a strong out-of-home presence encourage the 25– to 35-year-old male demographic to create and share better stories with the ultimate blended-at-birth, barrel aged beverage: Black Velvet Whisky. New Work: “RIFT Report” Campaign

The third stage of our multi-media campaign for the top-selling PC video game RIFT features real-world meteorologists providing other-worldly “weather forecasts” for the land of Telara (where the game takes place). These TV ads can currently be seen on SyFy, G4, The Science Channel, FX and the Discovery Channel and will also run on major gaming-related websites. If you’re wondering how much leather armor you’ll need to wear if you’re out and about in the greater Iron Pine Peak region tomorrow, watch the video below.

Working with Australian CG artists Plastic Wax and Los Angeles editorial house Arcade, HIGH WIDE & HANDSOME recently completed this TV spot to promote pre-sales of the highly anticipated role-playing video game RIFT. The payoff, “WE’RE NOT IN AZEROTH ANYMORE,” is a reference to the universe in which World of Warcraft is played. After all, with dynamically spawned, world-transforming rifts opening all the time, Telara (the universe in which RIFT takes place) makes Azeroth seem like a tranquil state in the Midwest.
